Lighting
Devices
Transparent modelHow EcoTwin estimates impact+

Lighting uses floor area × lighting power density × lighting level × operating hours. Devices use connected power × operating hours. Heating or cooling depends on the signed balance between the outdoor/thermostat difference, classroom area, and occupant heat gain, adjusted by HVAC COP.

Carbon is electricity × a configurable carbon intensity; cost is electricity × a configurable electricity price. Eco Score is a transparent efficiency heuristic based on user-controllable lighting, mode-aware thermostat, and device settings.
